First day in the kitchen



What a busy day today down in Ballymaloe. Today I woke up early this morning and made myself a cup of coffee, as usual, then I got into my chef's outfit as it’s the first day working in the kitchen.

It was an amazing experience having a fantastic chef teacher teaching us lots of things. The great thing about Ballymaloe is there is one chef for every seven students. We made a lovely soup and a beautiful pasta with mushroom sauce.

Then we ate, we learnt to cook some delicious dishes, then I came back to my cottage to get out of my chef whites and back to listen to Rachel Allen cook all these amazing dishes, she cooked pesto, and a beautiful quiche, and lots more.
