I have to say I was never interested in Lamb until a friend tempted me with a recipe that was given to her by a chef.
I was intrigued with the way they served it. The lamb shanks were slowly cooked and oh my was the meat so tender, it was falling off the bone. It was succulent.
It was served with the creamiest mash potato I've ever tasted served with some seasonal vegetables and the lamb shank gently covered with a mild curry sauce.
Mild curry sauce you say? Yes, I did! I was surprised but it was amazing. Would I have it again? The answer would be yes!
Next time I would be interested in tasting the lamb shank in Guinness and compare notes.
