Today was a good day for me down in Ballymaloe

So, as usual, my alarm went off very early and I went downstairs to make myself my usual mug of coffee. I definitely was there earlier than everyone else so I had the chance to get a good seat for the demo then I went to get another coffee and talked to a few of my new friends. I then went into the demo room and we had Darina Allen demonstrating to us how to make a Ballymaloe cheese Biscuit, homemade Crackers, and she talked a lot about cheese.

After that, we got a coffee break and I went outside to get some fresh air. I got a huge hug from Rachel Allen as we know the family. I then went back to my seat and we then did a wine tasting class with a fantastic and very interesting man called Colm Sommelier. The day finished with a lovely bitter red wine.

I then walked back to my cottage and got into my whites to go over to the tennis court to practice my serving as it was a lovely night.
